straight to No. 1 and stayed in the top 20 for over 8 months. |

Quadruple Platinum and just kept on selling. TV appearances on shown such as
"Countdown" allowed the band to reach litterally millions of fans.
On the wave of this popularity

playing to huge crowds at Melbourne's Myer Music Bown (100,000), Sydney's Domain (90,000),
Narara Rock festival (70,000), plus attendance records were smashed at indoor venues in
Brisbane and Perth. After a short break
the band traveled to the US where they recorded the "Sons of Beaches" album
which again went to No. 1 and established them as one of Australia's biggest recording
acts in history. |

The band was propelled into the
spotlight again with the release of an EP called "Semantics" which shot to No. 1
and Boasted such songs as "Reckless" and "White Limbo". |

Australian Crawl, with strings
of hit singles and albums has sold over 1.5 Million records and become one of the legends
of the Australian Music World.
September 1996 saw the band
inducted into the Australian Record Industry Assosication (ARIA) Hall of Fame. They share
this honour with such greats as AC/DC, Skyhooks, Johnny O'Keefe, Men at Work and
John Farnham. Even today Australian Crawl maintains consistent album sales worldwide,
particilarly in Australia and Brazil, where their music has found a new following.
